What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Then it was early xmas from SCS so I put the lift on (3in block and spacer) and the 265/70/17 Duratracs and the SCS Stealth 6s....now shes all sexy!

 

I think rigid makes a led bar that still fits in the new scoops. But I don't feel like spending that much money on a light... I'm actually really happy with how it turned out

 

Got my truck Krown rust proofed on Friday.. hopefully this will avoid any frame issues in the future. Next up is new tires.

 

Haha! No man... Sold my 08 STi a few months ago. That was my toy, so I spent some $ on some new toys! A local Line-X dealer quoted me $400 to prep and spray all of it. He's done a bunch of bumpers for guys around here. I figured it would cost me at least $2-300 in materials to paint it all myself, plus the time to do it. I really can't pass up that deal. Dropping all of it off tonight!

Shipping weight was 369lbs. That's including the pallet, cardboard, wrap and some other goodies All Pro sent me. I figure somewhere around 350lbs is a good estimate.

My son and I did a complete front and rear brake job on his 2008 Tacoma 4x4. Put new slotted rotors and "green" pads from EBC on the front. For the rear we put new Centric drums, shoes and spring kit from Centric. Finished it all off with a fluid flush and new synthetic brake fluid. The only time consuming part was doing the rears. After getting one side completed the second rear drum went much faster. Purchased everything from Autoanything for around $500.00.

 

Changed oil and rotated my tires. Checked the air pressure and I was at 25lb, I guess I didn't air up as much as I thought after the last wheeling trip. Put 6lb more in the front and 5lb in the rear. Then washed it for the first time in probably 4.5 months.

 

I definitely drool a lil'bit every time I see this truck!

 

Reinstalled the bumper this morning after painting it yesterday. Got to reinstall the fog lights still. Color is close but it will get Super White when repainted in a year.

 

I really like your truck. Looks bad ass.
