Either you work for Toyota, supply to Toyota, or you are another internet expert spouting conjecture and best guesses as factual information.
You've mentioned only that you've written letters to Toyota, so my assumption is that you aren't in their network. I still don't wee where you said you are only here in this thread to tell everybody they're wrong and debate every reply.

Far too busy going through old posts and commenting on their validity.

Nice if you like driving a banana, as the frame is different on the different cab configurations.

They used to make the Or in a long bed. Toyota decided there were too many configurations and cut it out.

Not a dream truck, or we would have ten foot lifts and 66 inch tires from the factory. I'm asking for input on certain things from Tacoma owners so I can communicate to the factory reps as to what their owners and potential owners are looking for.

I have been selling Toyota's since 2002 and talk to the factory reps on a regular basis, at least two times a month.

Might have been worth mentioning in the beginning of the thread, especially that you've taken the time to shoot down almost everything anybody has replied so far.

    Over and out. Good luck.

    Dude, get a fucking clue.

I turns out that a useful feature of a pickup truck is - wait for it- the open bed. Otherwise we'd all drive utility vehicles and minivans..

You know why they're cutting out the regular cab configuration, right? I suggest you research into that before you throw out your flying banana glib reply.

The purpose of this thread is apparently for you to feel self-important by filtering the replies to whatever ones happen to match your personal perspective, and then try and pass it on to Toyota saying "10,000 folks agree with me."

    Fuck that. Unsubbed. OP Ignored.

I call BS. The 2nd gen Taco is essentially the same size as the 2003 Tundra, which offered the V8 as an option. Never heard any complaints about handling.
