What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

What 15" wheels will fit on a 02 double cab. May he trading mine and I would like to get 15s with 33s instead of 16s

Cause you have IFS. the high you lift the truck..means the further down the suspension sits basically. You are in a sense shoving the upper and lower control arms further down. They only go down so far. The higher you lift the front the less down travel you have and the crappier it'll ride.

 

You just put some on...

15s for 01-04s are tricky. Most don't fit. Had to get them to not rub the calipers without spacers or grinding the caliper.

I may be switching to a DC. I'm not 100% yet. Still thinking. It's an 02 DC prerunner v6 with 160000 and if we trade I get to keep bumpers and coilovers and then it'll be an even trade

Could always do a 4x4 swap... I imagine that'd be easier than swapping to a DCSB lol

Only swap on a DC that is worth it is the manual tranny

 

I'm 4x4 swapping. Find a salvage yard and find the parts it's not that hard. Plus you'll have an elocker too even if you have one now

 

Guys I get to keep bumpers and coilovers. I can trade then sell it and buy a v6 5spd 4wd

 

I'm betting this guy is thinking you swap his OEM bumpers on. He isn't going to take a bumper less truck.

 

Yea we swapping his rear bumper on and he can keep his stock bumper but he said he gonna get a plate one built
