    All,

We decided to also offer a service to engineer and fabricate anything you desire. We realize that everyone is going to have different and unique taste and items they may want that others don't. So if you have something you want, that no one offers, let us know and we'll make it. Can be just about anything whether it is sheet metal that has bends and you want it powder coated or a machined part. You tell us what you want and we'll work out a design and cost.

FYI, one off parts will be slightly more expensive than something I can run 10 or more at a time. So if this a part I feel others would want, we'll be able to get the cost down.

Interested in the Bed rail caps/Tailgate Cap/Tailgate Skin. Subbed for what you come up with.

Working out cost with vendor now, then I am going to order 1 set to test fit on my truck. Once I verify that everything fits properly, I will start taking orders and get a batch run.

Hopefully it will be snug enough to fit under a tonneau cover. If you need a test subject, let me know!

I am actually doing something a little different than everyone else as far as this goes. I am not releasing pictures just yet but I see no reason why it would never fit, honestly it should fit better than everything out there.

    Pictures soon to come!

    First picture for first product!

Locking, steel doors for the storage in the bed. Doors will be powder coated in textured black. The locks will use a key, all matching.

I sent the drawings off for quote and will throw cost up shortly. I am going to order 2 right away just to make sure they fit properly but I see no reason why they won't.

    Picture of second product!

Steel, powder coated tailgate cap. As you can see, it'll be a replica of the plastic one that Toyota installs on the truck. Mine will come with a gasket already stuck on the underside to protect the tailgate from rubbing. Also, I did not include the bend to wrap down the face of the tailgate. Instead, I matched the radius of the tailgate for a more finished look. I thought about the bend but it seems pointless. When the tailgate is up, if you have items laying in the bed against the tailgate, that point of the cap would never get touched, same if the tailgate is laying down.

Still waiting on cost for this and same thing, I will order 1 to verify fitment then start offering them to the public.

Once I get these products in and installed, I will post pictures on my truck so you get a better feel for how they look. More updates soon to come!

Definitely interested in #2. Looking for a system to reinforce tailgate, cap, and bedsides. Did not want to buy a full headache rack from relentless fab as I don't need the weight, look, or aerodynamics. I simply want a stronger, more capable bed utility.

I'm still working on a smart way to do the sides of the bed rail. This is posing to be more of a challenge than I anticipated. Hopefully I'll have something designed in a few days. I'm trying to design them to bolt in place using existing holes. I don't want to drill into my truck and I'm sure no one else does either.

Very familiar with KB Voodoo's design and it does look good. I don't like the gap you get due to the curvature of the tailgate. But with sheet metal unless you have special tooling for a press brake you can't bend a curve like that. To get around that, I eliminated that final bend. In my opinion, that final bend does nothing for strength. So I matched the curve of our tailgate, looks cleaner to me.

Not laughable at all, I too like the look of an aftermarket item if it looks completely oem. What I'm trying to do is replace both oem plastic caps down the top of the bed as well as the plastic oem cap on the top of the tailgate and the plastic oem piece on the tailgate itself. But I'm trying to do this and look as oem as possible. This is taking a little extra engineering effort. But I should have some prices up very soon.

That's great to hear, I'm eager to see the finished design. I understand what you're saying about the tailgate cap but I am curious as to how a cap will look with no hang over. Keep us updated.

So your piece won't cover as much of the exterior of the tailgate as the OEM plastic piece ?
