    Good morning all.

I was under the weather yesterday. Spent most of the day in bed recovering from a headache and being tired.

We have a meeting with two kitchen contractors next Monday. I have my list of questions for the contractors in place. I will be working on the list of what we want done in the kitchen this week. Getting a little nervous of the potential cost of the project. Wife added new flooring in the laundry room and the downstairs powder room.

Our current kitchen is 24 years old and is showing its age with the style and wear and tear. I helped my dad and his friend do all the work. I have been missing my dad a lot lately.

    Hi Rob.
    Got the boat winterized yesterday.
Cut the front bushes down and moved them to the brush pile.
All the while coughing and hacking and having my nose drip every 10 seconds.
Couldn't breath to well last night so taking the day off of work.
Going to try and relax and get some gunk out of my lungs.
Kinda hard to work on something and drip on someone's interior.
Not something I would want in my vehicle.

    Slight frost this am.
    Leaves turning real fast now.
6 months till I see the boat again. :(

    Hi Mike.
My nose runs a little in this dampish cold when I work outside anyway; it'd be worse with a cold. I imagine that was pretty darn frustrating.

Smart to take the day off and try to sleep it off. That's how I attack being sick now, if I can afford to take the sick time, I take it and try to sleep through it as much as possible. Drink plenty of fluids and rest buddy. Look at it this way, when you go back to work, it'll be a shorter work week for you. ;) Hope you feel better.

Closer to 7 months here before we'll be pulling out the toys again. :( I do so love fishing and hunting season up here...but the wait in between sucks. ;)

Good to see you back safe and sound Ken!

Hope the Capt. is all fixed up, and everything went well.

Hey Tom; didn't someone mention the 6 mos. later?

When I bought a bench seat cover for the Tacoma, I got Coverking. Maby not as good as the Wet Okoles, but I like them.

Finished the final reorganization of the garage for Winter yesterday. Now the Highlander comes back inside so my wife won't have to defrost before work. Gave up my truck's space to keep the Ranger 6x6 in out of the weather. Working nights, I'll bring my truck in to thaw when she's at work.

Currently 26°F and forecasted to dip to 20°F just before sunrise. Pretty much 20s at night and mid 30s during the day all week. Here we go.

Charlie in my thoughts this morning; hope all went well and he is resting as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.

    Good morning to all.

I don't know that I'm all that. But I learned this a while ago:
"If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy." ;)

All jokes aside, 30 years last week...don't know what I'd do without her; or where I'd be for that matter. :)

Rob: Sounds like you need a shed devoted to the Ranger. ;)

Time for me to plant a flat of pansies in the front of the house.

Well it is afternoon now. One flat of pansies planted. put all the leaves in a paper bag for garden waste day tomorrow.

A 15 ft addition to a garage beats a shed any day.;)

Nice looking Tacoma Tom and welcome to the old guys thread. Beverages are to the cooler on your right. Coffee pot is on the table.
