Water creeps in on some of the corners but for the most part, yes they are. I get water in there when I wash my truck. High pressure washer though.

I think you can get a seam sealer to help seal it up tight

after having a few jeeps i opted for softopper. I think everything bestop makes ends up jeepish looking. Bestop is definitely a quality top though as is the softopper.

See the pics, this was after installing but before i dialed in the tailgate section. So far so good. No leaks and doesn't move at 80mph. I'm not expecting great things from a canvas top, just something to keep the sun off the mutt.

looks great on your truck and does'nt seem to have as much gap with the gap like the bestop.

I really want one these so my dog can cruise with me more.
Its hot here on The Big Island.
Can you fully cruise your truck with side windows and back removed? Like 60 mph down the highway?

There is almost no gap, it's really close.

the sides of the softopper roll up, sorta safari style, as does the back. The back you can zip out if you wish. You can cruise at speed w/ it up or down and i'm pretty sure the bestop you can do the same w. except the bestop side windows zip completely out. I can see pro's and cons w my roll up style as well as the full zip out style of the bestop

The softopper ran me bout 650 w an extra screen window for the back, so the mutt has air of if i need to sleep i have screen rather than the plastic.

My other concern w/ the bestop is that the plastic windows start to get ganked up after a while of use. At least on my jeeps they did.

so far so good. It'll be getting a 4000 mile trip here in 2weeks, so that'll be the test of tests

    Pretty much stock
well you asked....personally i think they are ugly...but the idea is awesome if you needed to keep the bed covered for a vacation trip or some temporary use. I wouldn't want one on my truck full time. each to their own! As long as you like it..thats all that matters. Aside from the topper the truck looks great.
