    My Duratracs are excellent in the snow.
    As an example, I drove 40 miles in through a snowstorm around Christmas last year, with around 6 inches of standing snow on the roads. Only used 4x4 once, and it was when I stopped to pull a car out of the ditch. And I have a slushbox, so I can't even control gear changes to regulate torque and mitigate slippage.
