    A few reasons really. A S/C for one makes you think the owner dogged the hell out of it, which if maintained isn't a big deal really. The drop bracket also is semi permanent, you have to cut a piece of the cross member out of the frame to get it on and requires some fab skills to get it welded back in place if you wanted to ditch the db lift.
