    That flare was supposed to continue to the bumper. Previous owner pulled it off because he thought it was rubbing

    Not to state the obvious, but do you have the waterproof backing on it? If you remove the waterproof one and put the other one it came with on, that should help slightly. But in the end a GoPro really isn't meant for quality audio haha

    I just thought there were some external mics you could use or something. This is the first time I have thought of using the go pro to capture video with sound included. Everything up to this point has simply been to capture the point of view.

    One of the frame housings is probably your best bet.

    It broke in several places but didnt shatter. That is kinda weird, hast to be something with how they make it.

    They do, there is a port on the side for one. You almost have to use a skeleton housing to be able to use it though
