Total Chaos 5 lug long travel kit, Fox coilovers. Mcneil fiberglass. Defined engineering sua, 14 in kings, Defined shock hoops rear. Weathertech digital liners and vent visors. Paint match grille and added fogs. 4.56 gears, detriot truetrac LSD (gear type), LCE header, URD 2TR supercharger.
How soft or firm is everyones rear springs. I know its dependant on lots of factors..

But, do they feels real firm on the street? Or soft and plush?

    Whats the ideal feeling?

I unfortunately choose to install the defined kit (10 leaf pack) and with full size spare and another 150 lbs in the bed it still feels stiff. Haven't got much time off road, but the time i did, i never even got close to hitting rear bumps.

Then i see tacokids truck and his rear looks plush.

And i should mention, DSM valved the shocks (non bypass) based off their experience with the kit.

I picked up some maxtrac spindles to run with my tc kit with lower uniball conversion, I was reading that I need some spacers to run the spindles though, anyone know what size spacers and where?

Whats up guys, sorry for sounding like a total noob but going to pull the trigger on long travel suspension.

Pricing out TC, Camburg but also ran across a company called MCM fab and Design. 1st gen was featured in the sept. oct magazine 4wd toyota owners. Has anyone heard of this company and could you tell me your opinion about them. Thanks in advance.

my thing is I don't have a trailer to haul my shit and I have to drive 4-6hrs to wheel. Comfort is a big key here. Love the wheel travel and my bud aaron just did his 2nd gen.

Talk to me about ads shocks. never heard of them.

Us made based in AZ. right there with the top dogs. Matt loves them and I have been in one truck with their front coil overs. Great ride. Top quality. Matt likes them a lot for many reasons but I know one is they use a triple seal. They also use all aluminum and stainless parts. Even in all the internals. Check out their site. They just redid it or are at least in the process. My dad went down and met them and they built his shocks right in front of him. He got some rears, I havent riden in it yet but he loves them. Had them valve it to his truck.

Matts can even get you cv axles made for you pre modified. Think a full setup with ads and axles is around 4500. But dont quote me there. He will chime in tonight and pm you or give you his cell phone number I'm sure.

    Monte,

Matt just sent me a quote. Pretty sure I'm going to go with his kit. Made me a bundle deal with full bump cans, hydro bumpstops, tundra axles and all. Really helpful on the phone and didn't talk to me like I was a dumbass, really patient

Any of the SUA springs available for our trucks, with no shocks installed, would feel plush (also a little bouncy). The firmness of the ride is because of shock valving more than anything. Mine rides pretty soft at ride height, and pretty firm at full stuff. That's what makes bypass shocks cool... I also run a little more pressure in my bumps than most guys, to help with G-outs but that makes hard hits harder than they need to be. You should set up your truck for your driving style and terrain. Where, and how do you drive? Balls to the walls at the dunes needs a much different setup than cruising down gravel roads or whomping across the whoops on Barstow main. If you want to soften up your defined kit, revalve.

Total noob here. Can you us factor upper shock mounts in the front with LT. Also what length coil overs can you run with this set up if it's possible. If not what length do y'all run
