I did. Evidently the torture thing caused some flash backs to when she worked at CPS.

I can watch shoot 'em dead movies but I cannot at all handle any kind of torture in movies... Can't imagine how one "human being" can do that kind of thing to another...

    Bingo!

And thats why she left CPS. She has seen some horrible things that parents have done to their kids. Her very last case, was one in which the parents were giving the child Barbituates to keep it from crying, along with beating it. Julie had the kid taken from the parents, and at that point she had 72 hours to build a case. She had the case built in 12. The county atorny told her there was "Not enough evidence", and that she had to come up with more. 10 more hours and she did. The case sat on the atornies (why the fuck cant I spell for shit!) desk for the remainder. The 72 hour time frame passed, the atorney wouldnt press charges, and Julie was forced to return the kid. The kid was found dead behind the house the next week. THEN the parents were arested. I made Julie quit.

There should be no trial required for parents who beat/rape/murder their kids/babies. Straight to the firing squad!!! or maybe to a group of people who will do to them, what they did to the innocent kids...

I couldn't work with people like that. I'd spend all my time crying about the horrible conditions the defenseless were in.
