Because SUA doesn't have downtravel? That's why it's a 62" leaf pack.

Food for thought...every SAS truck except Jerry's still 3 wheeled over the crack. I didn't. Build the truck for what you want purposes you want to serve. That's what I did. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything, but blanket statements like you want more downtravel are just wrong.

I'm interested how mine will turn out and what mods I'm going to have to do with the rear. With currently running allpro expos and 1.5 shackles I'm hoping this will somewhat work out

Why not get the front on and see how it all lines up before planning an SOA? Besides if you are looking at doing it why not links?

But you would get more with SOA, right? Not arguing, just never trully understood the diff between SOA and SUA.

My two cents: Aaron might want to consider doing a rear build if he wants a "do all" truck, but if Paul is just planning on running what we have locally (or similar), probably don't need to invest much more into his rear :notsure:

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
Over all travel is less with SOA. But they appear to droop more just due to the fact the axle is 4" lower or so. Like I can droop a 35" tire just under my slider. But I do NOT have anywhere close to the same up travel or over all total travel.

    If that makes sense...

My biggest beef with SUA is weight capacity. Ill probably stay SOA for now and do custom rear ahocks outside the frame with 12" shocks and get a longer shackle. Spend a lot of time valving so I can romp a bit but obviously not crazy. Then save for 4link rear and cage.
