And is it even worth it to LT if your only going with 8" shocks or would it be smarter to save the money and mid travel

What do you mean only an 8"?..better then the 6" one that a mid travel coil over gets you.

Do you actually know what a lt kit is?? Like..you know it's 3.5" wider or 2" wider. As in the upper and lower control arms are.

Lift is possible with any coil over.

So I decided on this big boy for use at home, 350 ft/lbs, 2700 IPM, 8 AMPS and it came with 7 sockets :) I'll just get a gorilla wrench to carry offroad

Total Chaos 5 lug long travel kit, Fox coilovers. Mcneil fiberglass. Defined engineering sua, 14 in kings, Defined shock hoops rear. Weathertech digital liners and vent visors. Paint match grille and added fogs. 4.56 gears, detriot truetrac LSD (gear type), LCE header, URD 2TR supercharger.

I may have had a bit off misconception going into long travel. I thought it'd be like driving around on a pillow or something.. Lol

All my other cars have been race oriented on very stiff suspension.

I was just (weekends) having fun in the deserts of so cal. Now im in Portland oregon and haven't found much area to test out my newer long trave front and rear.

The ride is tolerable just fine on the street, i just wanted a bit of reassurance it wasnt overly stiff. I do notice it feels good the faster i go on rough terrain. I'll keep the valving as is until i really get the chance to take i out. The front and rear do have flutter stacks.

I thought about going to a bypass, but i think a dmz kit will be in future, so I'll wait until then.

I know you're in eastern oregon. You know of any good places to go offroad more west towards portland?

    Thank you for your input.

There a guy on craigslist selling a new deaver sua pack that's 64" he's got it on a older Toyota pickup it looks like what would have to be done on the hangers to run it, I know the 61.5" packs use the 52.5" hanger to hanger number

64" springs have to be run outside the frame rails with an inverted shackle. Whole different setup than a typical 62" on a 1st gen. Need a Tundra/t-100 axle as well. That is the setup I run.

Desert stuff? Other than forest service roads you are hosed. Look up the Oregon Trail Rally routes, those are pretty fun high speed stuff near you. It's sketch without a spotter running ahead of you with a radio though... Central Oregon has some nice desert stuff. You can run from Prineville through Millican to Christmas valley to the Cali border all offroad if you know the way. Check out the Oregon BackCountry Discovery route (OBDR). It's nothing too hardcore, but still fun at speed. Christmas Valley Dunes are a hoot if you like sand. Lots of places to go, but not near PDX. Besides, fuck PDX, too many Californians there. :D
