Aaron...I noticed that after you cut your fenders, you now have an edge guard (black) on them. What product is that and where did you source it from?

Thx! Yours is looking great too, drive by it everyday.

O'Reilly, autozone etc. It's door edge guard, make sure to get it in the roll instead of strips. stays on the fender better.

It's super flexible, so I don't think it'd hold up during the install. It's also prone to falling off due to temperature change etc. so I wouldn't waste my time. I'm willing to bet the trim has to be replaced every year or so as the glue fails. :D

So you know tires just sitting in a storage building can get flat and dry rot and all that jazz right..... so ill drive up there make sure the tires stay aired up and keep the battery good and charged for you. All for the cost of nothing. Just leave the keys to the storage building, your detailing kit, and most importantly the keys to the truck and any gate codes one might need to get in or out of the facility. It will be like you never even parked it. :)

You guys are so generous! I'll PM you my address and where I'm hiding the keys! :tinfoilhat::notsure: Debating on how to store the battery this time around, first time doing long term storage with an AGM battery. Tires I just over-pressurize about 20% never had issues with flat spotting on my old 370z super soft high performance tires. That'd suck because these are brand new!

Haha...We can try....I think first is 35's then the snorkel becomes a necessity. My filter was loaded with sand from the beach trip awhile back.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Just sell me that Group 31 and I will give you my stocker and you can get a fresh new battery after deployment!

Battery has a 3yr warranty  I'm not concerned about it, I can probably leave it disconnected and it will hold its charge. Going to see about using my battery tender on an AGM battery. Not sure if that's good or bad for deep cycles.

You can use a float charge battery tender, that keeps that battery at full charge with a low current. I got a Battery Tender Plus on sale a few weeks ago when I warrantied my dead 31m (my fault). My dad has been using one on his boat for years.

Got my Y-pipe rerouted today in preparation for a full set of Pelfreybilt skids. Not sure if they moved it up enough? I will be wrapping it with header wrap to limit heat exposure on the u joint. Hoping it doesn't need rework

There is a thread with a bunch of pictures of the reroute. Tons of ways to do it but that's the least invasive. Hoping it's enough. I can't tell from the pictures of how the skid mounts if it's going to clear

Does that clear the front driveshaft? In the third pic it looks like it hits
