So I'm pretty much off work until November 14th when I have to report to Ft. Lee. As of right now my leave is scheduled for 21 Oct (the day I land in Baltimore) to 13 Nov, not set in stone though since the military is involved. If anyone want's to try and hang out or whatever during that time just let me know. Like mentioned before I won't have the truck, but if any wheeling takes place I could always ride with someone. Or we can just meet up somewhere to eat and have a few beers.

ya I made it back fine, actually checked it at home and it was holding really well so i didn't wanna mess with it till I've actually got the part in hand. I'm in DE for this week and then takin off next week to do my rebuild... starting to look like it might be a full gasket set, rings, and bearings and possibly new timing chain along with that pan if I can find one fast enough...

on a separate note though, shoe creek!!

I'm down for whatever. I'm pretty sure I bought a Hi Lift and a few other parts from you a few years ago. You mentioned something about having an event at Berglund Toyota. I hope everything works out for you with your Dodge.

Taylor: Brandon pretty much said it all... I got a crack in the upper oil pan (pushed the front diff into on the trail) and had no choice but to JB weld it for the time being... so we went and played a little more :D I did force myself to stay outa the deep mud thought to try and give it as much time as possible to seal up

Cory: if you plan to actually wheel this truck I'd serious re-consider that brush guard. I've only ever seen them reduce approach angle and/or cause severe front end damage when you do hit them. They're mad ego do exactly what their name says, keep brush (small sticks and heavy grasses) off your truck, if you do anything heavier they're useless and typically cause more of a problem

^ x2!!! I hit my slider (other one's still not done yet :spy: ) probably 3-4 times this last weekend, the bumpers might have gotten tapped a couple of times that probably could have been avoided :burnrubber:
