Grey wire MOD, deck plate, diff breather MOD, 2nd gen. OME 883# on Tundra 5100's, OMD custom 3" leafsprings, rear shock relocation, Ivan Stewart TRD rims w/285/75/16's, '02 bumper MOD, Famous Fabrications sliders , LED interior/exterior lights, bed bar, Custom tube bumper, Old school KC day lighters,Red Ring 8" HID flood, Kenwood vhf 2M.. umm some other shit I'm forgetting right now
I think it's mentioned in the deck plate MOD thread, but you can PM chris & see if he has them posted somewhere...

Something else I found odd was with CAI's theres actually a performance loss on the dyno results...something for those to chew on if considering an aftermarket CAI....not cheap for sure...

yeah, a 33 offset will tuck the wheels in closer than the 15 will. a 0 offset will basically push the wheels around 1/2" out further than the stock wheels (assuming the new wheels are the same width as old.

Just make sure the hub opening on the montero wheels will work with your truck.

Chevy's have 6x5.5 bolt pattern also but they have a smaller hub diameter so the wheels wont fit.

Test fit, see if they fit and if they do you can always add a spacer.

Cool setup in the cockpit. I bet half those switches don't lead to anything though

Don't know what year Montero you're looking at, but I put my old stock wheels on my Montero and they stick out just a bit further. I think later years, 2nd gen iirc, had less backspacing.

I just looked at my airbox and it has ribs on it so I couldn't do the deckplate mod. While looking around though, I did find an odd dingleberry hanging just past the MAF sensor. I checked the Camelback Toyota schematics and its called an intake resonator.

Any idea what it is used for?

It's an expansion chamber that reduces any drone noise in the intake. There are a couple of them (at least on the 3.4). I removed all of them and capped them a couple years ago, I've never noticed any drone noise since.

They are also used to dampen pressure wave harmonics as the intake valves open and close, which can also make your engine run more efficiently (theoretically).

Ditched the idea of Montero rims, now looking at some 15x7 with 33x12.5 R15 MTR's with 75% tread. Came off of a 4Runner. They look to be wide, like a 3.5" backspace.

Cleaned the hell out of this little 22r 5spd '85 I picked up this morning. Got it so I have something to drive when my truck is down, gears and bedcage coming soon, just in time for winter.

Thanks! Yeah they were 33mm offset, or 5.3" BS. Not what I am going for. Current rims I just committed to buy are 3.5" BS. And come with some meaty MTRs :D

But I will need to tub I think... And maybe some serious fender cutting. :woot: Spring break mod party!

That's an 85? This is what one looks like up here (Yes, I know this isn't an 85 but you get the idea).
