Just had some parts changed at 176632km (109754 miles). Both front wheel bearings, and the 4 front axle boots. Besides a rear leaf spring at 126000km this is the first time i'm changing any parts besides brake pads and regular maintenance. Not bad at all. What do you guys think?

I don't think I can afford to live where you do.
I think your bearings lasted a long time.
I think I would have had the half shafts replaced, instead of just replacing the boots.

Don't ask what the dealer wanted for this job.Trusted long time friend mechanic said to do it as is. The rest looked ok

Sounds reasonable given the amount of labor involved. Hopefully he used OEM parts.

I bought mine a year ago and the safety from dealer said they put new pads on the front at 134000km. My OD is at 175000km right now and I've only had to change the oil. I'm impressed with my first yota

    $1326?? What in the f.
There is a member on here that sells complete, ready to bolt on front wheel bearings for under $200 a piece shipped. Complete new CV axles are online for around $50 a piece. Thats $500 in parts. I've already done one wheel bearing in my driveway, it didn't take long and didn't require special tools beyond the 36mm socket I had to buy for the axle nut.

    I say you got raped.
