    Id love to get into hunting down here, just seems so limited and restricted tho. I hunted alot up in humboldt county before i moved here but there was so much more open public land. I just got a dod pass for vandenberg good for 1 year but i dont know if i can use it to hunt, the website says civilian employees of vandenberg are ok but im a subcontractor so thats probably different.

    Matt, I can Hunt Vandenburg as well but all of their deer tags are gone. Pig is year round and supposed to be good there. I was on base today re-paing my fees for this year. Are you contractor there or in Ventura County? I am planning to Hunt D-13 this year. I grew up in Sonoma County on the Russian River. Life here is very different than there...

    I live in Oxnard but work mostly offshore oilfields in the gulf of mexico and california coast from santa maria to huntington beach but had to get on base to do some work on a oil pipeline that comes ashore there. Its not a regular thing for me to work on land but they gave me a year pass to the base anyway.
