    I carry a craftsman electric impact, and a 1.5ton race jack under my back seat at all times with a portable battery charger if need be. It has been very useful to zip lugs off or other big bolts associated with LT parts when im not in the shop.

    It was only $99 bucks for a 200ft/lb 1/2" driver cant beat that

    Impacts are niiiiice haha I'd just rather not wrench on my truck without one.

    Is a 14" shock the recommended size for a front secondary? Will this work with the tc shock hoop?

    No.
    Assuming you're talking about off the shelf kits (TC), you need an 8".
    You can do 10's pretty easily with a custom hoop and maybe 12's. 14's are damn near gonna poke thru the hood and none of the bypass tubes are going to be in the right spot.

    allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
    Trac performance has a super nice gusset/solid mount kit that im hopefully getting. Look up nfs257 (I think that's his username), same thing he has.

    That's what I did, no more alignment issues after offroad now.
