2014 NCAA Football Thread

Must have changed a lot since my years there....
I was a student there thru the first Bowden Bowl.

though thinking back we did start doing the chop chanting "f-you Seminoles, Seminoles f-fu"

 

We're a perennial dumpster fire. I'm the first to admit it. But it makes beating teams like LSU that much more fun.

 

Florida State has won three national championships, including two BCS National Championships... they had a run of down years... but lets not pretend they are new kids on the block

 

I'm gonna use the FSU response

 

You had the best shot at FSU this year. That was & still is the only game I would not call !
Now its just a turkey shoot

Not to mention the 14 straight years of top 5 finishes and the longest current bowl streak

On any given night in college football, a good team can beat a great team, also a not so good team can beat a good team and so on and forth. The first happend to alabama twice last year (and once this year) and the latter happend to auburn twice last year as well.



Kidding about alabama being great this year... a little

 

You one of those people who has a problem with fans rushing the field?

Personally think it's only okay for huge wins. Like UK over USC wasn't that huge but Ole Miss or AU over Bama were understandable

UF QB might be cleared. Sounds like she was actually "dating" him per-se. Lots of evidence show her being the bad "guy."

If anything, FSU should be begging to get out of the ACC. It'd be like Georgia moving to the Sunbelt Conference and bragging about winning every game. Sure FSU's good, but they don't have to play the teams week in and week out that teams from the SEC and PAC-12 have to. Every other ACC team is riding on FSU's coattail, thinking they're in some fucking power conference. FSU doesn't make the ACC look good, the ACC makes FSU look good…………granted, FSU is good, so I'll redact that and say the ACC makes FSU look better

 

$50 Million exit fee is what's stopping them from leaving
