Any ideas on a drop holster? I have a Blackhawk but it sure is bulky. Perhaps a good harness and some type of paddle holster? Thanks guys!

200 rnds of Remington Nitro 1 3/8 oz. #4 high brass shells.

Opening day for pheasant is Saturday. Worse than waiting on Christmas as a kid. Especially when your jumping pheasant left and right, every evening hunting grouse.

My comp-tac paddle holster is really nice, and they don't break the bank. I have one for the glock 19 and 17.

We still have 3 wks to wait for grouse and pheasant. My get a nice anxious feeling when I think about wandering the woods searching for them quick noisy birds.

Shoot, there is no wandering here. Your lucky to make it 500' from you truck before you limit out in certain areas.

Thats why I go to where the birds aren't. At least I can make a day of it before I limit out, and even then its a crap shoot of making it a full day.

I was grouse hunting last Saturday and I shit you not, I jumped 50 pheasant, at least 30 of them were roosters, in just one flush. Then driving out, we passed this guys farm and there were literally hundreds in a cut winter wheat field, and he had them in his front yard just walking around with his freaking dogs.

You want pheasant, come here dude. It's almost no fun.....almost.

Its only stocked pheasants in pa anymore. Native populations were gone before my lifetime. Hear stories from my dad and grandfather tho. And grouse.... you better have a light gun, strong legs and comfortable boots. I have gotten lucky and doubled up within an hour or 2. But I have walked 4 or 5 hrs with only a handful of flushes many more times.

    going to be fun!
I picked this up this week and I am going to pull all the stuff off of my other 19 and put it on this one.

I will carry a fully stock 19 instead of one that has had the trigger and a bunch of other shit done to it just in case I have to use it.

I don't want some over achieving State prosecutor Attorney saying that I made these mods to make my gun a killing machine.

Those claims are greatly exaggerated. That being said I carry stock firearms for reliability & simplicity.

Agreed. I've never seen anyone produce evidence of a case being lost because of mods to a gun, but I don't want to be the first.

Why switch everything to astock gun to make the other gun stock??

I'd rather have a factory put together gun on my hip and a self modified on gun for the range compared to two self modified guns

AT CCW class the dude said also never to use handloads in your ccw weapon, prosecutors say you made bullets that are designed to kill people.
