TRD Supercharger for Sale : SOLD! old thread. Mods, please delete

TRD Supercharger for 4.0l v6 Tacoma 2005 and up. Purchased from another member here but will not be installing it after all. Per the original owner it has only 1,000 and it does look in excellent condition. You will need an assembly kit, and a fit kit. Buyer pays shipping and PayPal fees. Got it for $2500. Asking only $1,500.

Is there anything else needed for installation like wire harness, injectors, fuel pump etc? Or is this just all you need? Do you have to get a programmer or have it re-mapped after install?

 

Yes. You will need the fit kit to install, which I have brand new in box, and and the main assembly kit.

This SC has been tossed around for a very long time. Nobody will keep it once they realize that you need a bunch of other junk that virtually unattainable

I bought this SCS off eBay from a guy who said he's "going another route". Once I called Toyota and they said I can't use it unless I buy the rare kit, I sold it. The guy I sold it to sold it. Now here it is.

UPS / FedEx are the real winners, they're making $70ish every time this thing gets tossed around the U.S.

Btw the mark on the intake is what's indicating I've had it before.

 

would you happen to know what the part number of the rare kit is. I purchased this so I could install. But looking for individual parts is not what I thought. Maybe this is for someone who has a blown blower or someone who has the time to inventory the parts needed. On with the sale.

 

There's no part #. I called TRD. They weren't willing to separate a SC from the parts.

Best bet, sell it for $1200-1500 to someone who has a bad SC and needs a new one.

this is the problem..

I had this headache when looking for my S/C..

lots of used kits out there without all the parts..

luckily i found a complete kit,, that the previous buyers tracked down all the parts for..

when searching for all the parts needed on other used blowers.. i came to learn that it was a difficult, time consuming, and pricey road..

not to detour anyone from this purchase, but, just let it be known... that buying a used blower is a gamble.. but.. sometimes it pays off..

trust me.. ive been down this road.. but it can be done..

its really the original owners fault.. purposely or not..
