    not sure because I am building a 1776cc for it. the stock 1600cc got almost 30mpgs in bumper to bumper traffic. Not bad for a little air cooled engine on its last leg hahaha. My little brother was using it when the piston decided to join the outside world. destroyed the case and the internals. I had to start from scratch.

    so the tuffy box is just the side box in the bed beefed up right? my cubbies (not the locking one in the rear) broke and now I just have a hole there. I hate it.

    It wont bend, bounce or knock any wires loose without a support. the sheet metal inner fender has a little flex but its solid enough to mount the clutch reservoir without excessive vibration.
