I tried to search around, but couldnt find someone with my exact problem. Ok so the other night I was driving my truck pretty hard, I was in 3rd gear and when I went to shift into 4th it just gave out and clutch pedal was stuck to the floor. I took it to the dealership because I have warranty but the warranty wont cover it because the dealership said clutches are not covered... I thought it was the slave, but apparently it is not. So when the truck is off I can shift into all gears. Once the truck is on it will not shift into gear and it makes this wierd rattling noise, I can bring the pedal back up with my hand but it doesnt make a difference since it is not doing anything. I got it home by rolling it and just slightly putting pressure to get it into second since I was about a mile from my house. I bought the truck 2008 6 spd 4 liter 2wd with 53,000 miles I am sitting at 62,000 now. The truck did have the throwout bearing chirp before all this happened. I want to go ahead and order a clutch kit to fix this asap but I dont have money to dump out if this isnt the problem. Could the throwout bearing have caused all this? I tried to give you guys as much details as possible to help me. I will record a video and post a link to it so you guys can hear it. Yalls help with diagnostics would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks:D

Almost sounds like the pressure plate collapsed.
Or the "finger" springs on the plate broke off?

Maybe the throw out bearing could cause your issue.
But it's would need to be getting stuck on something, I'd think?

Are you sure you don't have a leak in the hydraulic lines?
Maybe the clutch fork is broken?

Yes. Clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing at a minimum.

I agree. You're going to have it apart anyways to figure out the problem.
You might as well get the whole kit.
