I put in an amplifier with my stock headunit using a line-level converter. It worked perfectly fine for nearly a month and then I decided to remove the subwoofer for a day to get more room in my backseat. I did not know to disconnect my amp and after about 2 hours of radio use, my stereo would not play anything at all:confused: I think think it might have sent power back through my stereo and fried it.

Does anybody have an explanation for what the problem might be?

Loose wire maybe? How did you connect the line-level converter? Maybe loosened something up?

could it be something like the balance and fade of the stereo?? that you accidentally mess that up??

Say if you try to turn the volume up or down. Or mess with the bass, treb, fade and bal controls, does anything even come up that says the volume is going up or down?

I checked every fuse I could find and they are all good. It shows that the song is playing and I dont have a volume gage but i can turn it all the way up... I cant figure it out.

You have the JBL system? If so. Hook the factory amp back up. Will fix your problems. But if not, wouldnt have a clue

If you have the factory JBL system, I know you dont have the amp hooked up :D Same thing happened to me lol. But hook the factory sub back up also other wise the HU and speakers will cut in and out once in a while.
