Seems like a lot of folks want one, and missed them in the group buy. Is there any news? Is there enough need for another group buy when they do become available?

Contact the folks that you would place the order through and see how many orders they would need to get a good group buy price. I'm sure you will have no problem filling the list.
I just finished installing my Pop & Lock (manual lock) the other day and I'm very impressed. The install was a breeze.

Only question is when they might actually have it. From all the threads I have read, it seems like they have been saying next month since October.

Re-attack. On their website it seems you only change the internal parts. Is that correct? So it would work with or without the camera?

I have all the information for group buy pricing if you see it does come to that. I plan on ordering a handful of extras for new members, or memebers that missed it when they are availible

    Wrek,
Read your install, and while two hours is a lifetime to me right now, seems like a winner.

    Thanks,

Although I haven't experienced one, the reason I sought after Pop N Lock for the group buy is that many people have had issues with dynolock and found they were unreliable.

Disregard this post if you wish, just wanted to let you know

I ordered the Dyno, and will let everyone know how the install and subsequent function goes.

So did the group buy ever happen? I am looking for Pop Lock for 2009 with back up Camera I believe it is the 5300 model? I saw it on Truckcandy.com for 54.00 but not listed on Poplock.net website. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I bailed out on the group buy and purchased one off of ebay. I am not sure if there are any more available or not. The ebay link is in the last few pages of the group buy thread. It shipped very quickly and installed easily. It is a very nice unit. It comes with two keys but I ordered an extra set from Pop and Lock for $10.

You might check with Dgerm who organized the buy. I think he ordered some extras.

Edited: Here is a current ebay link to seller Mile_High55. It shows 9 available. Shipping is very quick from him but it ships from Canada and took about a week from Canada to KY.

The guy up in Canada selling the PL5300 isn't a bad way to go. When I got mine from him it had some issues and he quickly got a replacement out to me with no hassle. Good guy to deal with.
