    Use electrical tape for masking. It conforms to curves better than painters tape.

    Yrs.. You dont want to paint the reflector the bulb is in. Thats what focuses the light.

    So....A couple years ago, the tree in front of my house was struck bu lightning......It looks like Charlie Browns Christmas Tree. NOW......A bird is trying to build a nest in it....
