This whole thing is like a bad movie. You sat through the 1st hour and you just have to sit through the 2nd just to see the ending. Meanwhile the further you get into it, it is shaping up to be a shitty ending.:annoyed:

Nothing yet, but the mail hasn't come yet today. No calls whatsoever either. I will be calling the police department on my lunch break to discuss options.

I like them too, I usually have no problems at all except that one particular package in 30 or 40 years.

Let the USPS go belly up and then see what UPS/FEDEX start charging us...

For me it's like binge watching 10 episodes of a TV show and catching up to it in real time.... only to have to wait 3 weeks for the final 3 episodes to air.

I read the first 18 pages in 20 minutes the other night...

Called the local police and started the process. They took my information and will have an officer call me to investigate it further. Nothing new from my bank and no parts in the mail today.

Also as stated lets keep this thread free of political talk. I really don't want to have to start a second thread and the discussion wasn't my original intention.

I wonder why it's taking your bank so long to come up with anything? Seems like in today's data age they should find something out instantaneously.

What if Ups/ FedEx lost the package :notsure: just saying they tend to loose valuables I remember my uncle had his iPhone lost sending it to Florida to his wife but I believe that verizon insurance ended replacing it.

Should have been insured anyway. Doesn't seem to have been. I'd they lose it or it's damaged then you are paid your claimed amount. I'd assume since OP is out his money and hasn't mentioned insurance through the carrier that it wasn't requested by him when "seller" shipped.

Then the seller would be talking to me. There is no reason to not communicate with me unless he is stealing my money. He can easily send a picture of the shipping charges and I would believe his it's shipped story more.

Called my bank again and they don't have any updates on the claim, but the person did put in a request for either a provisional credit or expedited process. The investigator can either just give me the credit or he/she will speed up the process as it takes up to 10 business days to complete the process. They said I should see a credit in 1-2 business days or if no credit, then the claim will be expedited. Happy to hear about that and should know more about it Monday or Tuesday of next week.

The police haven't called me back so I might give them a call today to check on it.

Progress! Glad to hear you decided to call the bank, police, and push forward. What that guy did to you is WAY wrong.
