    Ah, mostly hanging pictures on the walls, putting up brackets for cleaning supplies, stuff like that. Haven't gotten around to putting together my bike shop yet, probably next week. We are getting the driveway widened, it is one car wide and we need to park the cars side by side. Another pleasant day here in New England, but rain heading in for the weekend.

    D doesn't much care and I have offered this deal a month ago and no whoop to her...till she sat/drove in the new Golf then GTI. I would rather have the GTI of course for 2-3k more.
    It is a nice Jetta and knowing where it's been and the maint. is priceless.

    WEES! I know they are all very good cars, started with a Camry search. We are VW car peepols, always have been. Even through the rough patch of electrical f ups in the early 90's. Our last 2 Jetta's and 2 Golf's have been AWESOME.
    So, she's picking tonight between the new Golf with Sport Package and the one I want to drive.....alot.

    Rain held off here yesterday, so Mitch and I went to the range for a little shooting. Leaves still holding on the trees, so it was beautiful up against the mountains.

    I know...debating if I really want to go out or if I'm just procrastinating to avoid cleaning. :eek: I'll probably just go someplace a little more local for the afternoon. Had a gorgeous sunrise this morning - lots of orange and pink streaks in the clouds.

    We went from green to dead and bare in about a week here. Good that you guys are getting to have a little bit of fall season. I always did like fall up there - especially when the ground cover all turns reddish. We don't get that down here.

    But taking advantage of good weather for a day trip when Winter is bearing down is the best possible reason to do so. ;)

    Some years the leaves are gone in a week or two; this year has been a pretty decent Summer ('cept for not cooperating for my Halibut fishing plans) and even better "Fall." I hold fast to my belief "there is no normal pattern to the weather in Alaska."
