    a neverending list...
Hello Tacoma World! My name's Myke and I'm new to All Things Tacoma.

I'm very happy to be in my first Tacoma after drooling over these trucks for many years. Just picked up my Silver Sky DC a little over a half a month ago and am in pure bliss.

I used to have an '07 Four Door Wrangler lifted on 33's and steel wheels. It's been long gone and sold for a daily driver commuter that is eco/gas friendly.

With the addition of my baby boy on the way, the missus felt it was time to get another car and one that could fit us and our two kids. What would be a better reason to get one than at this point in time? Wish I would have purchased one a lot sooner.

Without further ado, here's my 2015 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab (TRD Sport). Glad to be a part of this board and looking forward to learning as days go by.

The day I brought her home:

I'm a big European auto enthusiast so I felt this would be a good personalization for my truck. This is probably temporary until I can take the front bumper to a body shop to shave the license plate holes. Darn dealer had them predrilled already. :(
    [IMG]

Not a fan of chrome so the emblem had to be painted:

Having grown up in Hawaii, my little buddy and this were a must:

Opted for a few OEM goodies:

...and these so the wife didn't have to tippy toe in (also got rid of the hideous/HUGE mudflaps:

As of yesterday, her last day on the Sport wheels...very happy with my decision on the Method NV's/Hankook RF-10's:

    Leaving the tire shop:

I'm still undecided as to which leveling kit to put up front as I'm still doing research. All this stuff is new to me and I'm still snooping around the board for the best reviews of certain products so I'm not doing things more than once. I know how I want my truck to look/ride, I just have to find those products that will help me achieve that.

Thanks for looking and I will periodically update this thread with better quality pictures the more I take my truck out. :D

Method look-a-likes for half the price? That's a deal. I didn't pay full price for my set due to a coupon sale on Discount Tire Direct, but your deal sounds pretty sweet.

I too am loving silver. My first silver car coming from black and white vehicles.

Just cleaned her "again" and removed the TRD stickers off the bed. Much better look imho.

Ya mb 352s pretty close to a knock off NV with discounts coupon they were 400 even nv's are what like 650 if I recall right. Not exactly half but enough of a savings to convince me our discount tire here doest sell method or order them that's wierd your local discount does.

I was looking at the MB's. Good choice. I actually live in the city where Methods are headquartered. That may help with why my discount is able to obtain them.

The tires are 265/70/17 Hankook RF-10. No rubbing so far but I have only driven it on the highway/side streets.

I'm curious to know what your view from the driver seat is like with that thing in the way. I'm 6'3" and the mirror does block some of my view to the right side, most of the time I just have to duck to see around it.

    Thanks Dan.

As for the view, I kind of have to do what you do. I've since trimmed his scruffs because they were slapping the dashboard. I was used to this when I had it in my Wrangler.

    Nice truck OP

I remember when my TRD antenna looked like that.

a warning.. on mine and a few others here, our TRD shorty antennas faded to a copper color after a while. I ended up plastidipping mine and doing this..
