October wheeling trip

There's bathrooms and showers at the office.

I had something similar on a rafting trip. It was nice in the wilderness. Don't forget the TP though.

 

Went to the TX4WD meeting. They're looking at doing a raffle of $1 per tickets. Seems like a lot of good stuff. Ranging anywhere from lights to custom stickers. Oh. And beer. For dinner, they're going to do spaghetti dinner one night with $6/plate. Keeps everyone in the group from making a food run into town.

As far as camping, some may be up in the front and some may be in the back with the primitive setups. I personally like the primitive style, so that's where I'll end up.

As far as trails, they'll take a look at the group and see what skills/rigs they have. More than likely it'll be 2 or 3 groups going out.

I think that's the jist of it. I remembered as much as I could, but I've had a few beers since the meeting.

 

It works with having kids too. Sometimes you just don't feel like walking to the restrooms 20 times a day.

Primitive is what I prefer as well. There are several campsites out there too. Last year we camped at the TTR site I think.

 

We camped at DFW tx4wd camp. TTR camp is for it's members.

There's the BMRA cleanup being discussed next weekend and the Fall Run the following weekend (Oct 24-26).
