Ahh yes.. Ballast problems.. I'm so glad I did away ballasts and fans on mine.

One less component (actually 2 less) to go wrong on the bulb. :D

Sorry to hear you are having problems Jester243.

Yeah I will, just bummed that I have been impatiently watching the tracking for a week and they failed out of the box. I really want these to work...

When your lights turn on they don't go really bright and then dim down a bit do they?

So after some back and forth and what I feel was a little too much reluctance from Lifetime LED they are sending me a complete new set of the 70W, so hopefully in a few days I can try this again...fingers crossed :D

The flashlights just flicker. They're junk.

The 70W headlights seem to work with no variation in brightness. They're actually really good.

I'm surprised they were reluctant. They shot me a new set with no questions asked. Had them in my hands the next day.

I don't know why either, they wanted me to bench test the lights before they would send me more, I politely declined that and they agreed to send replacements. Kinda ticked me off as I have used the 35w lights with no issues but I'm in a bad mood after my weekend so I dunno. I cant wait to get them and hopefully they go well. Oh when you hooked yours up did you use the canbus canceler or leave it off?

I left it off. Didn't seem necessary for our trucks.

Did you use it? If you did, maybe try without it.

I tried with and without, with the fans, without the fans and swapping 70w bulbs side to side to isolate the LED drivers and no bueno. Oh well hopefully all will be good very soon :)

I finally took the plunge and bought a set of the new 70w version. After an easy install, on my 2014 trd double cab OR one of the drivers doesn't work.

I switched the driver to the opposite side, and both bulbs light up and both fans spin, just no light from one driver.

What a let down for a $250 set of bulbs. I would think that would be an easy thing to check before they left the Lifetime shop.

So don't expect these to work right out of the box, but I guess that's why I paid 3x the amount of $$ for the same item if I had bought without the warranty.

Still disappointing, and thought I should let everyone know my experience.

This is bad. My fear is that they will go belly up, and obviously no longer cover the warranty.

My 70W lights are still working great, but my confidence shrinks every time I hear something like this.

I try to keep telling you guys, but you don't listen. What's worse is the ones I've picked up are worlds cheaper then the ones these guys are selling, with a much more simplified technology to them to work. Oh well. You guy's will have to find out the hard way.

So I got the replacement drivers and I reinstalled the lights and no more dimming. Here is a quick pick with the 35W on the drivers side and the 70W on the passenger side. The 35W is a bit more yellow looking compared to the 70W

I also had to re-aim as the 35W has a bent mounting base, the 70W lights mount so much better. I had one bulb flicker once last night after about 30-45 minutes of run time and I already have the tracking number for the replacement. Fingers crossed they work well...

I'm pretty positive they are the right fogs. The numbers are the same at least lol.

Is it the general consensus that the 70w bulbs are better quality than the 35w?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure if I throw $250 at bulbs, they work as advertised
