    http pipelining is it any faster ??

    scroll half-way down

    network.http.pipelining true was false
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequest 10 was 4

    yep it will make it faster but may have issues with some servers. more info here

    Arctic bull bar, hitch step, side bars (All by Avid Off Road!), BHLM, eye lids....
    pipelining is only useful if you're accessing the net through a dish (not proxy... wrong word - fingers faster than brain) .. if you're at home on your high speed connection, I wouldn't use it...

    i'm not familiar with pipelining but from the mozilla article i linked above it says "This preference has an effect only if you are not using a proxy."
