try taking a little bit of preload out so the uniball cut droops between the two coils.

There is no preload on it. The diameter of the springs is the same as the old ones. Thinking about doing a 180 on the coils.

Had this issue when i was Mid travel. I did that too, turned the spring until clear. And if needed run limit straps. Yeah when I swap those springs for you I was like
"damm these the right size they are huge" they were. I guess King upped the sizing on the springs.

I don't really have any issues running 75 with 33's. I mean it's sluggish and in 4th gear 90% of the time. But it works. I really would love a regear and 35's.

After hearing everybody complain, I am not sure if I want to go to 265's. May have to stay with 245's and just run a meatier tire.

you will barely even notice 265's unless you get like heavy e rated. I wish I had gotten 17's because I think 275/70/17 would be perfect

Okay. I have been looking at some decent all terrains. Really gotta get a set before winter. Do you think c rated would be okay? I just want to make sure I have more side wall than the Dunlop.

I think you would be fine with c-rated tires. That is what I am going with my next tires (p-rated now).

C-rated is really ideal for our trucks. I've got 265/75-16 DuraTracs in Load Range C on my regular cab and I still had to drop the pressure a little bit to get the ride quality back in line with stock - thankfully the chalk test confirmed that airing down was the right thing to do.

I had E-rated tires on my 2007 DCSB and man, that ride was awful. After 50,000mi on them all of my interior panels were rattling/squeaking from being bounced around for so long...or so I assume.

I wouldn't worry about it man. With my 265 DuraTracs, I'm able to keep it at 70mph on the highway without much issue. Big hills will see a drop down to 65mph or so depending on if you make it downshift (I have an automatic).

I drove to Gulf Shores, AL from Orlando (about 1,000mi round trip) and keeping it at 65mph the entire time got me 22mpg. That's pretty damn insane with the 265s, the heavy ass ATX Mojave wheels and the gear I had loaded. The camper shell may very well have actually helped my mileage, but it has to be negligible.

Go with the 265s - you'll love them.

You will be fine with c range I'm running e range because a lot I the trails here have sharp rocks and I was able to run them on very little air pressure off road. They are way overkill if you just drive on the road and like said before it kills the ride and mpgs

I've ran 265's both E and C on my truck, both on and off road. C's are noticeably quicker accelerating on road and a bit smoother ride. Off road I've noticed zero difference thus far, I mostly run trails and light rocks. No rock crawling as the IFS+no rear locker makes for some struggles with that stuff.

You guys rock. Will definitely be going that route with the c rated as I do mostly pavement except for hunting fishing and camping. May be getting some different wheels too. I am thinking 16x8 to give it that beefier look. I loved the look of baby taco on 265`s.
    Thanks again guys.
