    Yep. 2005 Safe Drinking Water Act exempted these practices, so basically the gas/oil companies don't have to answer to anyone. Hundreds of drinking water wells in PA have been contaminated making properties worthless and leaving entire groundwater aquifers contaminated. Who needs water and food when you have natural gas? Drill baby drill!!

    I saw that happen in Jersey. A tractor with a car hauler trailer was trying to make it over tracks that were obviously too high to pass over for his low, low trailer. But he high centered the trailer. The tracks were only used by Amtrak. Even though we called the Sheriff, who was on scene and called Amtrak, the conductor decided he didn't want to stop until the last possible minute and came screeching to a halt merely inches from the truck.
