This place might be prettier (ha! Gayyyyy!) than London. When I was in London it was about 6 years ago

Went to uwharrie yesterday to do a little wheeling, only rode wolf den and dickey bell. Dickey bell was probably the hardest thing I've done.

Flexing out on wolf den. NEED MOAR FLEX!!!!

Found out I still have a little more trimming to do in the rear but i figured as much.

After all this I had seen a SAS tacoma in the field across from the outpost and decided to stop and see what was going on. Well after about 20 min went by it was time to leave and head to one of my classes. I went to get in my truck and nothing, wouldn't even turn over. We weren't sure if it was the battery or the starter until about 15 min later when my radio lights and everything else stopped working.

I called one of my buddies to see if he could bring me a battery as no one else would deliver to me. I began talking with these guys and found out it was some new overland forum.

Hiluxs, unimog campers, tacomas with rtts and flip pacs began pulling in along with some jeeps pulling trailers. After shooting the bull with these guys for about a hour my buddy arrived. We put the battery in and drove over to the out post where i was going to give him some cash and fill up his 4runner for him. As I walked over to the atm I noticed a rather large sign that read INTERSTATE BATTERY.. I started to get pissed but I had such good time with these overland guys I just went back over there and shot shit with them for about another hour.

Turns out Optima is turning into a shit battery and is renowned for when being shook a lot or jolted (off roading) splits something inside the battery according to the overland guys.

You're lucky they just put a cell tower in there. You used to not have service at all at Uwharrie.

PS Dickey Bell is easy :p

Did you stay to the far right or the far left on the hill?

Awh I would have then! Thought you may have been walking around for the festival..

I've had my redtop for about 2 1/2 years now (kept it from my last tacoma :D) I charge mine before every winter and spring..I've had pretty good luck with mine so far. Doesnt seem to have the cranking power it did at first. I've heard that same thing before. Apparently they've move production to Mexico and thats where they went downhill. Not sure if thats true or not but, wouldnt be surprised. Look into a die hard deep cycle. Lots of ppl on here seem to like them. Probably get one when my redtop craps out

Not when your open/open lol I stayed left all the way up.

Plus I was spotting myself which made it rather interesting

Yeah that's what they were telling me. Auto zone replaced mine for free so if this one craps out on me again I'll be going to a diehard.

    Small update:

Did a power steering pump flush today and now my pump wines less, but it's still there.

Also went and picked these up today, will be installed next Thursday when I get time to get to my buddy's and weld up some brackets.
