Josh IIRC when I came over to drop the deer meat off there was a room off the living room... What about in the corner of that room...

My neighbors have a free standing stove and they have it on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms... I think the chimney just goes out the wall and to the outside of the house... Ill have to look at it again.

It does have the CVT, which is a whole new experience for me. Ive never even driven in anything with one.
It has bumper to bumper and power train warranty till 100k miles so at least we have some piece of mind if anything happens in the first few years. it has 51k miles now.

yea that would be the dining room, and off that is the kitchen. there just isn't anywhere that it would fit, that would actually work as far as the installation goes. also both those rooms are on the front of the house so the chimney would be in the middle of the roof facing the street.. not real attractive.

nope, gonna list it on craigslist and slap a fs sign on it and park it on a busy road.

i'll post a link on here to the craigslist ad when i make it incase anyone is looking for a beater.

 

All I know about wood burning stoves is to make sure you have the proper setup to run it. I had a half burned down chimney and roof to show for what happens when your setup isn't right. Could have lost my entire parents house.

I've got a very nice Vermont Castings wood stove that's just taking up space in my garage. I'd like to use it eventually but it's never been high on the priority list.

Grew up with a wood burning stove, great source of heat, just always be cautious

 

congrats on the suby, one of the safest cars out there & you can't beat the AWD. I wish her luck with it.

I can't chime in about the wood burning stove but I do have a fireplace. I make sure to keep the flue clean and burn enough to heat my entire downstairs in the dead of winter.

IDK all that much about wood stoves, but i helped my buddy install one in his house. From what i remember, you need to install a stainless steel double walled tube in the chimney. His is in the living room, he keeps it in the high eighties at night and that makes the bedrooms across the house very comfortable.

My buddy at work has a cam that attaches to his head rest posts, next to his head. That way it records the rear view mirror and speedometer. Pretty cool idea

 

Like I said from day one - this "event" isn't a "meet".

It wasn't my job to hand out the inventions and being a good guest I do not invite people to things I have been invited to. That would be disrespectful to the party planner.
