Outstanding! I'm relieved to hear you axle housing wasn't Tango Uniform.

No kidding, even though an aftermarket housing would have been cool. I wasn't looking forward to the cost.

I did have a little more damage that I discovered after my last post. When the outer bearing went it wallowed out the gear that locates the inner gear in the lock out hub. Thankfully it didn't hurt the inner gear ( they are Original Longfields). I was able to pull that piece out of an old one I saved with a bad body and repair it.

So in the morning I just need to clean all the little bits of exploded bearing from the inside of the wheel hub. Knock the old race out, install the new bearings and seal. Should only take an hour or so to be back on the road.

Rgr. :D I wonder if they are off-set fwd like the ones for the 1st Gens are. Crap drives me nuts. I wouldn't rub half as bad when stuffed if not for that stupid OME off-set. If I had it to do over, I think I would have went with All Pros...which appear to be off-set slightly aft, but that seems like the better option between the two.

I personally think everyone should pay their own... tbh. How much is it normally to reserve spots?

BTW, what CB is everyone using? I have a cb with a no antenna hookup cable, is it okay to use just one antenna or will i just need to get a new coax cable

It seems like it would be easier to keep the spots all together if one person is making the reservations for the group. Also, since we're allowed two trucks per site, only half of us would need to make reservations and the other half would have to pay whoever's site they were sharing. Works, but it just seems easier if one person does the reservations rather than hash out who's making reservations and who will be sharing with who. Just my opinion, and since I already declined to be that guy based on financial limitations, I guess I really don't count. :D

Well, it's easier than someone being jipped of money.... Has happened the past couple of times, has it not? I'll try to call tomorrow and see if we can reserve, and have each person pay for their spots, or whatever.

Only if you're the one being jipped. :rimshot:

Just kidding. ;) I guess the problem is people pulling out at the last minute for whatever reason. That leaves the people making the reservations eating the cost of a site that nobody is using. Could happen the other way too if half of us make our own reservations and whoever has agreed to share our site opts out.
