Thanks HJ! Hope to start working on it again within the next month.

 

Installed the No Drill License Plate Bracket. Very easy to install and looks much better than the zip ties I've been using. Best part is it doesn't touch the paint anywhere. I did use adhesive felt behind the bracket to ensure it doesn't rub a spot on the plastic valence.

 

Man I love BenWa's power sliding window mod! Wish I could of grabbed one before he stopped making them. Truck looks great!

Deciding what is next on the list to get.

 

Installed a Smittybilt Hitch w/ Shackle. Also picked up the Smittybilt Recovery Strap. The 4 inch / 20 foot is probably a bit much. Got a good price from AutoAnything.com.

 

Took a trip to Mt. Rushmore, Denver, and Pikes Peak with the family.

Saw this sign for Bigfoot on the way up Pikes Peak. Didn't see him anywhere.


It was 14,115 ft. at the top of Pikes Peak. We were so high we were surrounded by the clouds. Tight winding road to the top. Needed lights and blinkers and L on the way down. Temp dropped 31 degrees from the bottom.

 

Got the Landcruiser TOYOTA emblem for the grille. Attempted to use coupling nuts with bolts and wing nuts. Five times trying to get the epoxy to take hold. It just wouldn't adhere to the plastic. Considered drilling, but don't want to crack a $50 emblem. Looking at 3M now. At least it will be closer to grille and hopefully eliminate breaking at the car wash. MTF.

 

Color matched the Land Cruiser emblem to the truck. My brother-in-law covered it with vinyl. He covered his front bumper a couple of years ago and there isn't a tear anywhere. I'll get the type if anyone is interested.

 

Hoping to add a stereo and possibly another option. We'll see if it works or not.

 

Moved from TX to Northern VA. Added some items, but unable to post with move and PC that died. Awaiting flames after posting due to some them. LOL

 

Installed a Kenwood DDX-371, Kenwood 6 1/2 inch 3-ways in the rear, and Infinity Primus 6x9 in the rear. The sound is much better than the stock system. It has a clearer sound and a certainly louder. I don't typically turn up the volume that much, but it is there for some songs. Hadn't used Pandora in the past, but it is pretty nice. The only thing I don't like about it is it won't play movies direct from my iPod. This is usually not a big deal, but handy when the wife wants to shop so I don't have to walk around.

 

Awesome grill do you know the part number of the toyota emblem? Also how did you attach it to the grill craft?

75311-90K00 from a Land Cruiser. I used Magnetic Metallic vinyl to color match the letters to the paint. I used 3M double side tape to attach.

 

I think I'm going to attempt to color match with plasti dip. I have an Off Road. Just ordered the color match grill and black grill craft to do this. Just gotta somehow find a sport hood now.

 

Took all the emblems off, but did add a little back. Went with some matte black and red vinyl. Go ahead and light it up. LOL

Looks good KROB. I have the red TRD on for my bedside decals too. I think the MGM with the red just makes it pop. keep up the sweet mods.
