Yeah, knew should've kept my mouth shut and maintained an open mind. :(

I apologize for running my mouth.

I'm primarily just trying to annoy Sam

Is that your Iron 883? I want one. It wasn't my first choice, but I could almost buy two 883s for the price of a Fatboy, which is my first choice. I also think the 883 is a great bike to start out on. I don't listen to the "that's a girls bike" and shit like that, anyone who is brave enough to get on a bike with the dumbass driver's we've got now has some balls.

My dad bought a new one and owned it for a little over 2 years. It was a nice bike, sounded good, yeah it shakes a little at idle. But he got rid of it because he's old and it hurt his back to ride.

I agree, but busting out a window over a seatbelt violation? And the dude didn't get out because the cop pulled a gun on him when he went into his backpack for his ID.

Idk the whole story, cop probably got scarred by a black man reaching into a backpack so he pulled his weapon. But I'll agree that many cops out there go above the law

This stuff scares me, like what if I go years into the program and realize I'm not suited for it when it gets balls to the wall hard.

I can deal with the surrounding culture, there's bad ones with every class of bikes. The thing that gets me is that you pay so much for outdated technology such as pushrods; seriously who runs pushrods its not like overhead cams are a new thing(I think they may have one now with overhead cams not sure), that sound that everyone loves so much is due to the there being one lobe turning the crank and this is unbalanced creating that sound, steels frames, cast iron swing arms, all of this is still going off of the original crap, can't they come up with new ideas? End rant/.
