Ok got the roof mount 1/4 wave installed along with the Icom IC-208H. Still have to extend the mic, mount the control head and external speaker.

Now a question for you who have installed a Firestick on the bed or truck rear. Where did you run the coax out of the cab. I have a 2009 Tacoma Double cab. I looked about under it and saw one plug that seems to be under the drivers seat. I saw another near the back rear door outside of the storage compartment but think that is for a body bolt as I did not find it under the truck. I have a big motorized antenna a High Sierra HS-1800/Pro. Its going on a trailer hitch extension so I will need to bring coax and a power lead to that point. Just getting outside of the cab seems to be an issue as I don't want to go forward to the engine compartment to go all the way back.

    Thanks
    Gary

I followed some advice from rmb_crew on running the coax. On the passenger's side, under the front seat, is a rubber plug that is easy to pop out. The location is pretty close to a bundle of wires that in run through the floor from the factory. I cut an X through the plug, ran the wire through, and sealed it good with silicone. No problems or leaks, and I was able to run the coax by the frame this way.
