LOL this statement shows how much you know  Or lack of first hand experience with product.

Here's a thread that discuss about rear end collision http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...ion-body-shop-guys-just-got-rear-ended-3.html It starts on post # 45

BTW here's my impact at about 30 mph against another car and my truck frame is straight thanks to this bumper.

It's simple, with that thing sticking out a foot all the impact of the hit is placed squarely on your hitch, which is attached to your frame. Without that there the forces is spread out along the entire bumper and hitch.

With a regular tow hitch yeah that would apply. Still you're WRONG and here's how it works.

Your gizmo didn't even take the hit. I'm talking about being rear ended straight on. Once that spring is collapsed all the force will be excerted to your hitch and frame.

Hasn't the bumper taken the hit judging by the dent and collapsed like it's supposed to in order to absorb the impact ?

Dude you even LOOK at the "picture"? I guess not. that is a straight rear end hit. I had the body shop check for straightness and it is straight. i see most of your past posts have been nothing but negative comments on fellow TW memebers, not surprised

It will collapse once the rubber spring goes beyond it's limit. That hit wasn't beyond the limit of the rubber spring.

Yes I looked at the pictures. The left front of the car hit the right rear of your truck. Your gizmo barely got hit, didn't take the brunt of the accident.

Want to stalk my FB account next? There is nothing negative about me disagreeing with you. You have no facts it works, you linked a thread where the guy was giving his sales pitch. Of course he is going to say it works. I could be wrong, you could be wrong, either way it's a forum for discussion. I choose not to use it and you do, simple as that. No need to get your panties in a bunch.

lol I'm stalking? considering this is a public site and I can just click at your account at will, how is that stalking? I'm just saying it works for me based on first hand experience and btw that wasn't the first I was hit. The first time it was hit, it was a straight square hit and again NO issues when I went to the body shop to check my frame for damages. I'm just disagreeing when you said that the bumper won't work without first hand experience to back it up. I doubt you can see my side of the story without adding snarky remarks  I'm done.

I said I don't THINK it would work. I never made any claims, you are the one who got all defensive and overly excited. Calm down, enjoy Columbus Day and let's hope the OP had some good products.

I wouldn't want to fuck with the engineered crumple zone. It's highly effective:
