Ok, so my blower for the hvac is acting up. When I turn the truck on I get no air moving no matter what setting I put the speed selector on. If I take my hand and smack the glove box area pretty hard it comes on and functions normally. Wtf? All the connections are tight, it makes no noises, and can be turned on and off with the dial after a good spanking... Any ideas or has anyone had this issue before?

Blower motors are a common issue. I had two replaced under warranty and now have another one acting up (chirping really loud)

The dealer wants $147 for the blower.. Is that my best bet or is there another option that has the same quality as oem for cheaper?

Check the cannon plug behind and on the left side of the glove box (as you're sitting in the sit).

The back shell / where the wires go in are exposed to wondering feet. It was my problem. I'm guessing if you can smack it and it starts it's a bad connection not an intermittent blower motor but, I'm no mechanic.

Start the truck, turn the blower on & do a hand over hand wire shake.
