Went to San Antonio last year and never got around to getting Mexican food. The BBQ is great though.

Having lived in Iowa, I will say that they have a few good Mexican restaurants. Pretty large Mexican population around the IBP facilities.

 

Gonna say , pretty sure just like any other cuisine it would depend on the authenticity of the cook . There's an authentic Mexican that lives where I am that makes pretty damn good Mexican food

All I'm saying is it's all about location if you want the perfect ethnic food. This Latin culture in Texas is a good size. I know seafood wouldn't be as good here as say New Orleans or the northeast.

I'm sure they do over there. I know back in North Carolina the Mexican food ain't as good. It just depends who's in charge of the recipes.

 

This is true. Southeast iowa is getting overrun with Latinos. They sure can cook though.
