Last week I was at my gfs house fixing her driveway and her neighbor came over. Asked me about taking some stumps down for him and i said sure. Then he got to looking at the truck. Said how he details cars for a living and turns out my dad used to bring his cars and trucks to this guy in the 80s and 90s. i asked how much to detail mine? he says take out the stumps and ill do it for $50. Done deal. He uses a special buffer with two heads, counterweights all this other stuff, special pads and really good wax. he de-oxed it then 3 step wax (not mothers or any parts store stuff which i use). I had always been happy with my detailing, but he took it to another level. he said the paint was perfect which helps but wow an amazing job. here it is:

Thanks guys. The man does quality work. he De-oxidised the paint first, I dont think he clay barred it. I know the buffer he uses cost some insane amount like $500, the paint is so smooth I cant describe it, its like super hard ice thats not cold!

The wheels are my the best money I spent on the truck, id get rid of the lift, muffler, lights and grill before the wheels. TRD FJ wheels, kinda wish I got the gun metal ones, but they werent out yet.

Would have been $100. I didn't even have to pull the stumps actually, I brought over my big Dayton saw and flush cut three 24"-30" stumps, then threw them on a wood pile. Took me 10 min. It worked out well considering it took him 2 hours on the truck.

Truck looks great and I really like that exhaust tip. I would however, do something about the front license plate. It just seems to take away from the total look of the truck. I know by law (never figured that one out), you have to have it on the front, but maybe a simple license plate frame will do the trick.

Truck looks amazing but the front plate is just kinda hanging out and doing it's own thing, looks like it's taken a bit of abuse. A solid black frame would probably blend it in a little better and give it a cleaner look. Just an idea though.

Yup the plate sucks. On my t100, I had the Green plate from the 80's, meaning 1 plate, no front that was nice. Its banged up from me smashing thru snow banks when we do snow removal. I will have a frame on it asap. Funny what some comments here make me do. i dont know if he travels?

He did a decent job for you. Nice depth and color.

The polisher he used is a Cylo Polisher.

    ^^ yup cyclo polisher.

Funny, I have the same sorta "bashed up" front Massachusetts license plate also. Just need to find a black plate holder.

    Truck looks great!
