    yes. I have more than I need currently but need to add a 2nd fixed blade for my truck bag

    Of the 20+ knives I own, I carry 3 folders, 1 fixed blade and a machete at any given time

    the rest sit in my drawer, or garage, or whatever unused

    I rarely even carry knives cause I am so worried about someone freaking out about them lol. I used to carry a lock blade on the plane, here we are now.

    I don't carry them as weapons...the machete is for dealing with snakes at work because less paperwork and safer for the public than shooting a snake

    the folders are for various jobs...seatbelt cutting, prying/poking/digging, and cleaning up loose threads on my uniform

    the fixed blade is for that oh shit worst case scenario barricaded active shooter in a school type of situation and I need to pry a door or something crazy...or if i get stuck out in the woods and I can chop firewood etc with it...and according to Gerber's website, it's good for my egressing out of a downed helicopter

    The only time I'm not carrying a knife is when I'm flying.

    People can freak out all they want about knives. It's just a tool that is useful in many situations.

    If at some point my life was threatened and I didn't have a gun on me, of course I'll use my knife to the fullest extent possible. Never had to in the past 10 years though.
    I did that in tech school back when I was worried about any string on my uniform. Now I just use my knife.

    I think I have 3 knives and 2 multi-tools in the truck. Along with all of my other tools haha
