Well.....TTORA has a newby section, and I think it has cause some flame wars....If a new guy posts in the wrong section, they get hit with a "DAM ****** NEWB!!!" type reply. "Go to your **** SECTION, NEWB!"....Im not thinking it would be a good thing for this board.

X2 TW isn't a fraternity-- The noob is just as important as the regular member. Besides, don't we all love being helpful and answering questions about our Tacomas? I don't see a prob. with a section like this as long as it's not a thread to heckle. We've got a pretty respectful community here. :)

Wasn't there talk before about not letting new users start their own treads, aside from the intro section, until they reach a certain post count? I think that would be the best way to cut down on the same threads being created over and over and over again. No need for a different section just utilize the search function a bit.

TW is the way it is, due to the helpfull friendly atmosphere. If there are 5 posts of the same topic, who cares? No one has to view it. TTORA has its way, and it works for them. How hard was it to scroll past the 5 similar posts? I think there are alot of people who have found this site, who have never been on a forum before, and dont know how to navigate thru it. Weather or not there is a section like what is being suggested, is irelavent...They wouldnt find it anyway. On a new persons "Newb" posted question, either dont go into the thread, or answer it, and give some helpfull links in which they can find with a search for future use.
