    Speaking of cows, they can be docile and controllable most of the time but never underestimate an animal that weighs ten times what you do. A local man here walks with a severe limp. I'd always assumed that this was because he had been wounded in the Korean War. However, his service as a paratrooper was not what caused the limp. When he returned he took up ranching again. What nearly killed him was a cow. In the US, about 22 people a year are killed by cattle.

    Oh, I know. I've grown up with cattle. My dad had a his foot twisted 180* once because it got caught up in some rope the cow was in. He still has occasional issues with his hip because of it. Whenever livestock injuries you, its most likely your fault.
