I have had my Light Racing UCA's for 3 years. NO ISSUES! I have utilized the adjustability quite often to help my alignment. And to top it off... NO noise from the uniball.

Depending on what you are thinking you might haul (150lb. dog maybe :D) Dakars are a great choice. If you think you might pack more for adventures look at the AP EXPOS leafs. If you have money to burn I suggest the customer Alcan springs I did this summer. A U-bolt flip is a great idea. Get the AP kit that comes with Timbren bump stops. You won't regret it.

What shocks are you thinking of running? Both Bob and I have been running the Bilstein 5125's from RCD. They are designed for the Tundra and truck with about 4"s of rear lift. Phil just got the Toytec BOSS rear shocks and I believe he has liked them so far.

Yeah I spoke to LR at the Toytec event about this. First off they completed warrantied one guy that called it in and sent him a new set. And they stated they would do the same for anyone else. As they worked through the details the guy admitted to jumping his truck. If you look through the TW thread about this and the guys doing it a good portion of them have jumped their trucks. I personally don't think LR UCA's are a good choice if you are planning on running baja style. TC and Camburg UCA'a are designed with Baja in mind for sure and would be the way to go. But that damn uniball is noisy as hell. Two members on here that I know personally complain about the noise and having to lube them all the time.

Eric if you think you are going to get frisky with your truck then get TC or Camburg UCA's. There is also MCM Fab in Nevada. They have some better prices but I don't have any experience with their products other then the customer service is great from speaking with them. Check these out:

I too have lr UCA but only about a month on them. I went with hthe boss leaf pack from toytec and I'm glad I dd it rides great. The Dakar's and the ap expo packs look skimpy compared to the boss kit

Wife cleared me hot on a sports car this summer, its gonna be a GT500 or a STI. That thing is legit.....but that color would be a deal breaker.

Fuck yeah! I would go STi but part of me would want an older, cheap roadster like an mx5 and build it like crazy. Maybe even a brz then supercharger or turbo.
But buying something that is out-of-the-box fast is usually more reliable and everything is under warranty.

Depends on what you want to do with the car. I love awd turbo and have owned a sweet WRX. But if this is a weekend driven only when it's 70 degrees and sunny. Then I prolly have to go GT 500.

Something similar happened to one of the WY guys (Blackdawg) last summer. I wonder if they are all the same year?

It's a common problem with first gen Tacoma's. Not sure if the runners are the same way. There's no fail-safe if your LBJs fail...your tire just straight falls off lol

I know Sean really has me in a pickle with this whole mangina signature. It gets worse if I mess with it so I leave it hahahah.
Good point.... Yokohama low pro tires FTW. Best off road tire because it lets the rim grab some traction!! :D. That's the tire I'm backing haha.
