Its been an interesting Tuesday for me, tornado watch, rained since yesterday, and got delayed 20 minutes at school for it.

By the way, how much have you all put into your truck as far as mods?

Yeah one of my early classes was done 30 mins early which was strange.

Honestly I'm probably one of the lower ones here at $1000 for wheels and tires (both needed) and maybe 150 in other stuff like lights interior stuff and my flashlight charger mount in the truck $50 so not all that much

Edit also new headlight lenses idk how much those are and maybe more but around what I said I'd guess

Sounds nice, id like to get lsc15 to make some retrofit headlights with the white halos, get a relentless aluminum bumper with full guard, and a 2.5 - 3 inch lift to clear some 255/85r16 bfg km2s. And regear to either 4.56 or 4.88, I have 4:30s stock.Do you know which ome springs gets a 3 inch lift? I think I will get 2.5 rear so the front can settle a little, it has a leveling kit now I think. Im just not for sure if 2.5" lift will clear 255s with stock wheels though.

I say the same thing about my job they need to pay better but nothing I can do right now since I don't wanna switch jobs till I know when/if we move just out of town
You have 4.30? Never heard of a Tacoma coming with that maybe the dealership put them in or Toyota used them idk most are 4.10. I don't know which springs are the ones for that lift but I can look it up quick and see. If you go for aftermarket wheels you can get the tires out wider and clear the UCA if they are to wide idk if they are

Could it be the gears were installed from a 4runner by the dealership or someone? But yeah most are the 4.10s

Yeah I've heard about Tacoma's that were non TRD but had the locker.

The only reason I would see it being regeared was if he had the 3.5somethings up to the 4.30 even though I think the 3.5s came with a 4banger :notsure:

Did you get your leaf lack by mixing and matching? Mine are flat but I'm really not worried about it right now since I don't wanna lift it with all my driving.

What wheels are those? One of the few 17s I don't mind and are the tires on then worn or you want km2s again (looks like the mud terrains now?)

How much back spacing is on the stock TRD wheels for first gen? Is it 4.5"?

My truck is the 4 cylinder, that's how I came up with the gearing is the door code. Its also a 5sp, not automatic. I saw somewhere a couple of them come with those gears and I think only Toyota makes them. When I got it home, I found everything I could about this truck. Already changed the oil and put in a new 02 sensor. I am wanting a new leaf pack and either new coils with what ever is recommended with ome, I think its nitrocharger, or some king coilovers. But my dad wont let me lift it till its paid for, so I got a couple years. I think he may have said what ever he gets back on his taxes will go toward it. If I need new tires before then, thinking of 255/75 or 255/80 cooper stt. Id like to keep some what good gas mileage, got 18.7 on my third tank, cause we have hunting land 2.5 hours away and I got a 4 banger so I don't have power, but I can try to get some high mpgs.

Ya, I wish it was a v6, but im a teenager and its a manual so I would be trying to do stupid Sh#t and break something or wreck. 3 people have wrecked and died at my school this year. 2 car wrecks and a street bike which was my buddies brother, A guy hydroplaned with his brother in the car and killed him but his brother was fine and the other guy passed Friday, he was rear ended. Really makes you look at life differently.
